Will CC2650/2640 support Bluetooth 5.0?

Good day!

Due to announce of the Bluetooth 5.0 specification in June 2016, I'm curious if CC2650 will support it as a Firmware Update?

I saw this information below,  but will be grateful for an update to be sure, we can use CC2650 for new designs.
