Is there an SWO-like output on the CC26xx?

Hi,

I'm looking for some "debug print" functionality. Now I see that the CC26xx supports JTAG and I haven't used JTAG before, but I've used several Silicon Labs chips which use SWD, and they have a pin called SWO which can be used to printf debug messages into the IDE's console.

Is there similar functionality on the CC26xx?

You can use System_printf to output debug message on CCS console. You can refer to sunmaysky.blogspot.tw/.../steps-for-ti-cc26xx-ble-stack.html

Hi Venemo,

Yes, CC26xx also have SWO port to output SWIF packet. You can use the 2nd UART port of XDS100/XDS200 debugger to receive these packets.

System_printf() is useful but also limited. It uses the so-called C I/O function. All the limitation of C I/O must be considered.
