CC2650 Timestamp milliseconds

I am using CCS Cloud to program a cc2650 sensortag. I use the standard open source software for the sensortag and are modifying the code so that I can choose what to send and how etc etc.

I wonder if there is a way to get a timestamp or the current time in milliseconds directly in the C code somehow. I have tried some stuff, but havent been 100% succesful. It is very important that the time is in milliseconds.

Are you using TI-RTOS or not?

You can try to use osal_GetSystemClock to read the system clock (returns milliseconds).

Not sure if I am using TI-RTOS, but I can access libraries such as "ti/sysbios/knl/xx.h" and "xdc/runtime/xx.h".

I get this error when using osal_GetSystemClock();

undefined first referenced
symbol in file
--------- ----------------
osal_GetSystemClock <whole-program>

I assume I get this error because I dont have the required library and I havent found a way to add external libraries to a project when using the CCS Cloud for development.
