simple_peripheral BLE stack2.2

Hi,

I am trying to venture into BLE stack 2.2. I am using CCS6.1.2 I am working with the CC2650DK at this time. I was able to compile and download the stack project to the DK. I am able to compile the simple_peripheral project but I get a debug error. I notice the simple_peripheral project doesn't have a targetConfigs directory. I have attached a screenshot below for pointers. I did install the TIRTOS 2.18 separately and then installed the BLE stack 2.2 later. If this is an installation problem, where will I find the installation logs?

Hi,

I am now getting a build error with simple_peripheral. A screen shot is attached below. A warning about flash memory boundaries.

Priya,

I imported the projects and they built just fine.
What version of CCS are you using here?
I've got this to work with CCSv6.1.3 (also install the ARM 5.2.x compiler if you haven't already).

Also, your files all seem to be linked. Where did you install the BLE SDK?
Can you check to see if your "Linked Resources" (Resource->Linked Resources) paths are correct in the Project Properties?

Tom,
I was hoping I could get the BLE stack 2.2 to compile in the CCS I am currently using which is 6.1.2.
Should I uninstall this and install CCS6.1.3?

I am using the ARM compiler TI 5.2.7.

All links are valid in the simple_peripheral_app project.

Here is the SDK path: C:\ti\simplelink\ble_sdk_2_02_00_31

I just remembered I added an extra directory for the custom board and then tried the standard DK package board. Maybe if I just edited the 4XS board file instead, the flash spacing won't be an issue. I will try this next week. For SDK 2.1, there was no need to change memory space to develop the application. It will be nice if this is the same.

The simple_peripheral project is now advertising using the DK. I had to find the app project properties general

page to assign a target config file to the app project.
