power saving enable or disable?

If I enable power saving , and I don't allow any task to run for a while , power mode will be into IDLE mode or STANDBY mode ?

I have one wifi mode is UART , it's connect in CC2650 EVM Board ,

I use UART_open(), I want to know , when UART_open() is running , the power saving will into STANDBY mode ?

When UART_open() is running , the device won't go into STANDBY mode.

I don't think so. UART_open won't take long time. Why do you want to do that?

By the way , If I try use UART Echo sample code , and want to TEST power saving , is it possible ?
Because when UART open , then loop forever echoing , seems it's waiting uart in and out ?

I think it's possible but there is no direct example shows how to do it. You have to refer to SimpleBLEPeripheral to see how it implements it and do it accordingly.
