Hi,

i have two cc2564b each one connected with a stm32f4.

I need to transmit data at max power, but inquiring at low power in order to avoid bad coupling (if there are more than one device near i'd like to bond with the nearest)

How can i do?

i tried with VS_Set_Max_Output_Power in bluetopia stack but nothing happens...

Hi Paolo,

The CC2564B implements power vector in the BT controller. This automatically takes care of adjusting the power to avoid bad coupling.

In order to pair with the nearest device, you might be able to use the RSSI of the scanned device. Are you trying to connect to BT classic device or a BLE device?

Hi Vihang,

i need help about inquiry...my goal is to launch an inquiry process and to find the nearest device around me.

I tried with

HCI_Write_Inquiry_Mode(BluetoothStackID,HCI_INQUIRY_MODE_INQUIRY_RESULT_FORMAT_WITH_RSSI,status_result);

before inquiring, but my status_result was 48 (0x30).

Any idea? I have done something wrong? there is another way? I don't find any solution exploring BluetopiaCoreApi.pdf document

Hi Paolo,

Please refer to the implementation of the "Inquiry" command in any of the sample applications of the tibluetoothstack-sdk. There is a GAP_Perform_Inquiry() API that needs to be used to perform BT classic inquiry.

Alternatively, there is "StartScanning" command implementation in the BLE sample applications of the tibluetoothstack-sdk to scan nearby advertisers. The GAP_LE_Perform_Scan() API is used here.
