Hello,

I'm working on a new project to develop Bluetooth HID Keyboard.

I'm new with TI products and for a new project i found the TIDC-BLUETOOTH-SMART-KEYBOARD-MODULE.

I'm very interested by it, so i wanted to take a look to the code example.

I downloaded TIDC-BLUETOOTH-SMART-KEYBOARD-MODULE but i don't understand how does it work to read the .c/.h files.

It would be great if someone could help me.

Did you review the User's Guide? www.ti.com/.../tiduab1a.pdf

Section 5 includes instructions on setting up the firmware.

Dear,

I'm comming back to you to get some help.

I saw the product TIDC-BLUETOOTH-SMART-KEYBOARD-MODULE is working as HOGP.

Unfortunately i saw the HOGP profile is only working on Windows 8 (not older version).

I swa the CC2650 used on it, can be used as a simple HID.

Is there a way to redefine the module profile to use it as a simple HID, and get a HID keyboard working on windows 7 ?

Hi Benjamin,

Yes, this design was made using the HOGP and is only supported by Windows 8 and later. The Design Guide mentions all the supported sytems: Windows 8.1, Android4.3 and iOS 6.0.

I will loop in someone else with more HID knowledge to see what your options for Windows 7 are.

Not natively in Win 7. You'd have to check with your workstation's BLE chipset manufacturer or use another open source BLE stack such as BlueZ for Linux.
