new SDK v2.2.1.18, scanning doesn't work

Hi TI team,

I downloaded new SDK v2.2.1.18 and built up the simple_central application without changing anything.

But just discovering … no scanned devices at all.

I used the simple_central in cc2650_em folder.

Could you check for this?

again, the issue happens.

GAP_DEVICE_INIT_DONE_EVENT doesn't happen. so, no "initialized".

Hi Ji Won,

I'm not able to reproduce this. It sounds like it only happens sporadically on your side as well, how often does this happen? Also, could you provide information on what version of TI-RTOS, ARM compiler and CCS you are using? (For the 2.2.1 stack we recommend using TI-RTOS version 2.20.01.08.)

CCS v6.1.3

Board works well after enabling the 'Connection Options' with 'Reset the target on a connect' options with respect to 'Debug'.

it seems to be a reset timing issue.

Hi Ji Won,

After disconnecting the debugger it's generally a good idea to power cycle the device. Has this happened to you while in debug mode in CCS? What debugger are you using? (Are you using the XDS100v3 on the SmartRF06 board?)

I'm not able to reproduce the issue, every time I start the simple_central the LCD screen prints "Initialized" (etc.). Could you give an estimate of how often this happens?
