    There will be detailed documentation available with the BLE-Stack 3.0, which will be available on the web soon. This will cover the differences between the CC2640R2F and the CC2640. Please check back later this week for updates.

    Hello Victor,

    In addition, and as described in the CC2640R2F data sheet, the CC2640R2F has PHY support of the new Bluetooth 5 features (2 Mbps and Long Range) as well as up to 80 kB of free flash for the application.

    As Nathan states, a new SDK will be released soon to support this device in Bluetooth 4.2 LE configurations.
