Part Numbers: CC2640R2F, CC2640

Hello team,

Is there any collateral available that spells the differences for CC2640R2F vs. CC2640? otherwise, would you mind summarizing them?

  • Hi,

There will be detailed documentation available with the BLE-Stack 3.0, which will be available on the web soon. This will cover the differences between the CC2640R2F and the CC2640. Please check back later this week for updates.

  • Hello Victor,

In addition, and as described in the CC2640R2F data sheet, the CC2640R2F has PHY support of the new Bluetooth 5 features (2 Mbps and Long Range) as well as up to 80 kB of free flash for the application.

As Nathan states, a new SDK will be released soon to support this device in Bluetooth 4.2 LE configurations.

    Best wishes
