Hi,

I am comparing the CC2650MODA evaluation board (BOOSTXL-CC2650MA) with the CC2650 evaluation board (LAUNCHXL-CC2650).

"BLM18HE152SN1" is contained in the VDD line of LAUNCHXL-CC2650,
There is nothing in the VDD line of BOOSTXL-CC2650MA.

On the CC2650MODA power line,
Is BLM18HE152SN1 (ferrite beads) unnecessary?

Hi Hamada,

It depends a bit on the system. If you have other noisy circuitry in the design it is advisable to insert a bead on the VDD trace to the module. If this is not the case and you for example run directly off a battery, it will typically not be required.
