CC2564: Reject connection

Hi!

My project is based on HOGP demo which was modified for my needs (while the connection-disconnection mechanism was untouched).

I am looking for an effective way to block certain devices from pairing with my application (i wish to choose some devices from the device list which will be rejected upon connection and effectively terminate this connection).

Please advise on how to implement this.

Hi Yuri,

For your use-case, please provide more detail on what you are trying to do.

Are you trying to (1) only allow a certain device to reconnect (after initial pairing) to your device when advertising? or

(2) Do you want to select from the BD_ADDR of the known device to only allow one of these devices to pair?

Hi Vihang!

My use case is probably (2).

The default state of each device paired and connected to my application is -> allowed to be paired. meaning, I allow any unknown device to pair and connect to my app.

Afterwards, i want to have the ability to disconnect a device and not allow it to reconnect. (it is still a paired device but it is not allowed to connect).
