CC2540: Nexus 5X Connectivity Issues

Part Number: CC2540

While using the CC2540 in an application which pairs the SOC with a Nexus 5X, frequent disconnects are experienced.  By any chance, are there known issues (whether through software or hardware) with using the CC2540 with the Nexus 5X?
