MSP430xG4618 Bluetooth Application Code Size

Dear Sir,

I am currently doing a feasibility study to integrate the Bluetooth chipset of PAN1323 (TI core of CC256X) with TI MCU of MSP430xG4618. I have got some beginner's questions here.

What is the minimum code size including essential libraries on the MCU for a simple Bluetooth UART?

Do I have to implement the Bluetooth stack (Bluetopia) on the MCU?

Can I use PAN1323 as a modem like device so that MCU can access PAN1323 via commands?

Yes, blutopia stack runs on the MCU. Memory consumption depends on the application code, blutopia library and OS/nonOs kernel size.. We, can provide blutopia library memory consumption.. Actually, i would recommend downloading CC256x SDK for MSP430, build the project with your application and check the MAP file, for memory consumed in each section.
