CC2564: Pairing and Connection Problem with Android Phones

Hi All,

I am working of a project that connects my peripheral device(CC2564+STM32F411) with Android device. I am using the ANPDemo sample and was able to succesfully connect and pair (both SPP and LE) with the iOS device. But when trying to connect with the android phone, its not connecting or pairing with the device.

Do i need to change or add anything to the code to connect and pair with the Android device??

Humm.. You may need to develop or get an android app with ANP support..

Thanks for the reply.

I understand for Alert notifications to work, i need to develop an app with ANP support. But here i am talking about connecting and pairing, as i am not able to connect or pair successfully.

Can you help me out to resolve the pairing issue first and then i can check on the Alert notification profile functionality.

Default Android BLE scanner may be filtering out the devices with ANP service advertisement. Try to get a 'Light Blue' or equivalent BLE explorer app on android to check ANP service...
