CC2640: CC2640 BLE OUTPUT POWER

Hi,

I am setting  my cc2640 device output power to +2dbm, by below API.
// Set Transmission Power
HCI_EXT_SetTxPowerCmd(HCI_EXT_TX_POWER_2_DBM);

But when i am checking it with oscilloscope, it shows around 0.8dbm. 

I tried to change it to +5dbm, but it still showing 0.8dbm. Can anyone please tell why it is happening?

    Hello Aditya,
    Which HW solution are you using and which front end configuration is used?
    Do you mean a Spectrum Analyzer?
    And how to you setup the measurement?
    Do you use a 50-ohm coaxial cable?
    There can be a small loss in short cables and connectors.
