CC2640R2F: Larger Memory for Application Use?

Part Number: CC2640R2F

Hi,

I wanted to ask about the new CC2640R2F.

If I understand correctly by using this chip there is more space for Application code,

due to stack moving from in-system flash to ROM.

1. Can I run old firmware\products which are using stack(2.1.0) on this chip without porting to stack 3.0.0 or is stack 3.0.0 a must for this chip.?

2. Trying to understand how much memory from the comparrison in the datasheet.

Table 3-2. (pg. 5) Typical(1) Flash Memory Available for Customer Applications

http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/cc2640r2f.pdf

Question:

Are the values mentioned in the table the leftover space for code, after placing the applications mentioned there in the remarks(2,3)?.

Thanks

Regards,

Tamir
