Hello All

I am trying to reduce power level of simpleBLEPeripheral example code. When I download simpleBLEPeripheral (without modification) and measure current rate in current meter it's shows approx. 4.80mA.

I have also define the POWER_SAVING symbol in Pre-processor.

Is there any way to reduce power level? if so how much?

Yes, it's advertising.
Can you please tell me is there any way to save maximum power otherwise my Battery goes drain within 5 to 6 hours.

Are you using custom HW? What's your advertising interval? The average current consumption for 100ms advertising interval in simple_peripheral is around 200uA.

Yes I am using custom hardware and advertising interval is 100ms.

Is there any way to reduce power level in custom hardware?

You should check if there's current leakage on unused IO pins.

Since you are using custom board, you should set unused IO pins to unused status in board file.

No. Let's use CC2650DK_7ID.h as example. You can see a line in it like the following:

#define Board_DK_LED1 IOID_25 /* P2.11 */

If you don't use LED1, then you should revise it to

#define Board_DK_LED1 PIN_UNASSIGNED
