Hello

I use a sensor tag. I want save variable (20 bytes) in flash or EEPROM for re-use this after reset.

what is the best solution for that ?

EEPROM (but it is use for OAD), Flash. other solution ?

If you have the right solution please tell me the procedure.

Hi there's a few ways to do this.

The one I recommend is using the Simple NV (SNV) described in the SDG. software-dl.ti.com/.../platform.html

You could, as you mentioned, use external flash included on the sensortag (or the launchpad). You just have to start up and configure the external flash driver.

There's also another method where you can stick it in RAM, and not initialize it upon reset (preserving data for a short duration). But it's not an ideal solution.

The best solution is the SNV.

You can define OSAL_SNV=1 in stack project and use API osal_snv_write to save data in your application.
