Sounds like you want to use the TI RTOS timers - take a look at software-dl.ti.com/.../rtos-overview.html

You can use Util_constructClock to schedule a timer event to do it. Try to refer to SBP_PERIODIC_EVT implementation in simple_peripheral example in BLE Stack v.2.2.1.
