How to change BLE access address on simpleBLEperipheral/ SmartRF studio?

Hi,

I have a device of National Instrument which is applied to send packets, and I'd like to receive packets by smartRF studio RX packet mode.

The BLE access address on the NI side is not the standard one, 0x8e89bed6, and I've changed the access address on the smartRF studio and it's not work.

Is it possible to change BLE access address on BLE stack 2.02 project or smartRF studio?

Hi,

According to Bluetooth Specification, the access address for advertising can't be changed. You need to use proprietary mode to have custom access address.

Hi Christin,

Can you share the knowledge of how to use proprietary mode?
I can change the access address on TI Radio Test and it seems work for me.
