In the CC2564MODN data sheet it mentions that the module must be used with the indicated chip antenna (CC2564MODN data sheet paragraph 6.2.1.3.1). Is this to maintain FCC compliance.. Is there any issue in using the module with the printed inverted F antenna described in the legacy CC2564 documentation. I intend to follow all the other design guidelines published. It looks like the module is basically the CC2564 with the crystal and filter. I would think the printed inverted F antenna would work, but am troubled by the data sheets recommendation of the chip antenna.
