CC2650MODA: Microchip private GATT profile: Transparent UART implementation available?

Hello,

one of my customers is evaluating our CC2650MODA module. He is communicating to a fixed "Master", which is using a Microchip RN4677 module. They may not change the FW on the Master. The Master uses a private GATT service for serial data transfer, which is named "Transparent UART".

The customer was able to communicate between two CC2650 lauchpads and now is trying to communicate with the Master. Do we have a implementation on our Bluethooth Stack available to establish a communication with the Microchip module?

    Hello Felix,

    TI does not provide an implementation of the Microchip "Transparent UART" custom GATT service. However, you can implement any custom BLE GATT service on the CC2650MODA using the BLE-Stack SDK. I suggest they obtain the service app note and reference code from Microchip and use that as a guide to develop the custom service. We also have a SimpleLink Academy module for developing a custom GATT service, see www.ti.com/simplelinkacademy.
