CC2650: BLE Stack v2.2.1 Compatibility with CCS v7.0

Hi team,

I am getting the following warning when building a project in CCS v7.0: "This project contains 1 unresolved buildable linked resource(s). The project may not build as expected." However, I am not getting this error when building the same project in CCS v6.2. Is there an issue with the BLE Stack v2.2.1 in CCS v7.0?

This is the simple_central_cc2650em_stack from the BLE Stack v2.2.1

Just try to build simple_central_cc2650em_stack from the BLE Stack v2.2.1 with my CCS7 an don't see the same problem. Do you use TI ARM Compiler v5.2.6?

Hi Yikai,

Thanks. I removed the project from my workspace and added it again and that warning seems to have gone away. Now I am just getting the following warning which is fine.

"This project was created using a version of compiler that is not currently installed: 5.2.6 [ARM]. Another version of the compiler will be used during build: 16.9.0.LTS."

You should install TI ARM compiler v5.2.6 to build the examples in BLE Stack.

For reference you can install the ARM Compiler v5.2.6 by following the instructions from the BLE Stack 2.2.1 Developer’s Guide found here: http://www.ti.com/lit/swru393

Refer to section 2.6.3.2 Installing a Specific TI ARM Compiler on page 31.
