Let's say your original number is called x,
x*125 = (x<<7)- (x<<1) - (x)
But please be aware that all the variables in scs is 16bits. Therefore you will need to make sure x*125 < = (2^16-1).

to get .75, you just have to divide by 4 and times 3(x>>2+x>>1).
