CC2650RC: HID pairing issue when pairing to IOS 10.2 with passcode

Part Number: CC2650RC
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2640, CC2650

Hi sir,

I have trouble when I use CC2650/CC2640 pairing to iPhone(IOS 10.2) with passcode. Please kindly to advice my if this issue can be solve.

Platform_1:

Software : BLE stack 2_02_01_18 => hid_adv_remote without change anything

Hardware : CC2650RC

Platform_2:

Software: BLE stack 2_01_00 => application base on HIDEmuKbd with passcode

Hardware : my own PCBA with CC2640

-----------------------------------------

Issue description :

my original application base on Platform_2 and work well except pairing to iPhone(IOS 10.2). And I find the same issue when I using CC2650RC with latest BLE stack for CC2640.

If using Platfrom_1, Use default example and pairing to Iphone, it will showing pairing success(connected) after keyin the passcode. But the CC2650RC can not type any key(or number key) to iPhone.

I want to make it work so I reset the CC2650RC, the iPhone showing unconnected but it still in the Bluetooth pairing table. If I click the label in the iPhone BT list, it seems to re-pairing to the CC2650RC and it will showing connected after a while. After the re-pairing, the CC2650RC is worked. The CC2650RC should pairing twice to the IOS 10.2 to make it work.

And in my test, this issue will not be occur if disable the passcode. Is this a bug on BLE stack for IOS 10.2 ?
