To meet the RED testing requirements, classic bluetooth needs to be put into a mode where it is hopping and can measure packet error rate (PER) or bit error rate (BER). Currently there are only test mode commands that allow the chipset to be put into RX mode on a single channel to measure BER. Can you provide instructions on how to put the module into RX mode while hopping so we can measure BER?
We require this information so we can test our module against the new RED requirements for european compliance.
