Can I develop my own BLE protocol for a device based on the CC2650 or is the device limited to a set of default protocols? Also is there any software to assist me on doing so?

    Hi Carlos,

    I am not sure what you mean by "my own BLE protocol" as BLE is a strictly defined protocol. If your question is about building your own BLE SW stack you are free to do that. You can alsl make your own proprietary protocols using various types of PHYs.

    Either way I recommene you to look at the RF Driver examples available with the latest TI-RTOS release and study the TRM: www.ti.com/.../swcu117
