Linux/CC2650: Implementing Scanning (send/receive) in Contiki

Hi,

I am working with sensorTAG CC2650 on contiki and the only support provided for BLE is advertising beacons. I need both broadcasting/scanning facility.

Since, I am new to BLE. I would really appreciate if some guidance is provided about how to implement it. For instance:-

Which document to consult(precisely please, not ref to Core specs)
Which docs were used to implement beacon adv in Contiki
Is TI-RTOS implementation going to serve as reference code?

I really need a starting point to implement just a basic scanning facility. Swift response will be highly appreciated.

Contiki CC26xx-web-demo example already implemented BLE beacon. You can refer to

Yes, but it just beacon. I am referring to scanning! I went through that wiki link too. Any hit where to start exact, time is not in my favor.

What I want to do is communication between two sensorTAG devices over BLE.

I don't see there is example for BLE scan in Contiki example and I suspect if there is enough flash size in CC1650 to implement it in Contiki.
