hello,

i am working on cc2650 launchpad for my project and i am trying to code for bluetooth communicaton.

i imported 'PROJECT ZERO' from resource explorer. i am getting many errors. The code gets stuck in any one function of the MAIN PROGRAM and is not displaying anything on the hyperterminal.

Hence i am unable to progress in developing a code.Moreover i am not understanding what is wrong the code.

Can somebody please help me and suggest ways in which i can make this code work.

You can follow the instructions for Project Zero ( dev.ti.com/.../index.html ) or SimpleLink Academy ( software-dl.ti.com/.../ble_01_basic.html ).

i am using version 7 of ccs.

i am having a problem to import the host project on my spare device cc2650. i downloaded ble stack also , yet i am not able to import the host project on my controller.

What's host project you mean here? Is it hosttest example in BLE Stack? What's the problem when you import it?

in the above link see the IMPORT HOST TEST.
i am stuck there i have no such host project in resource explorer.

You can import it from local folder located at C:\ti\simplelink\ble_sdk_2_02_01_18\examples\cc2650lp\host_test

Hi Vaibhavi,

You can read how to import projects to CCS that are not found in Resource Explorer in the Software Developer's Guide ( www.ti.com/.../swru393d.pdf ), Chapter 2.6.3.3.1 Import an Existing Project.

i could import the project.

i see an error in the BLE device monitor. it shows a device error. i also tried the Btool for connecting the host test program. it shows me the same error.
i am not sure how to deal with it. i tried updating the firmware for the device also

attaching you the error. moreover the com port connected is right.

Is COM3 simulated by your LAUNCHXL-CC2560 running HostTest?

yes i have compiled and debugged the code of host test on LAUNCHXL-CC2560 .
i tried to connect auxiliary data port and uart as well. for both i get the same error.

Try to download prebuild hex cc2650lp_host_test_rel.hex under C:\ti\simplelink\ble_sdk_2_02_01_18\examples\hex to your LAUNCHXL-CC2650 to test again.

Prebuilt hex means it is already built by TI and attached in BLE Stack.
