CC2650: Audio transfer with 48kHz

Hi there,

i want to send a Audio MIC signal that is converted with a 24Bit ADC at 48kHz rate via CC2650 to a pc.

Can the BLE protocoll handle this large data rate to be transferred?

If yes is there any example available from TI?

I think 24Bit ADC at 48kHz is too fast for CC2650. CC2650 sensortag_audio example in BLE Stack 2.2.1 can process 16bit, 16KHz using the built in microphone.

I could Sample at 48khz and send the data packages at 16khz. Each package would contain 3 samples.

One package transfer could send 255bytes if I remember it correctly.

For my transfer I would need 3bytes for each sample x 3 = 9bytes.

But can the BLE really send 16khz packages ?

Is this example already working and released?

Yes, it's 16K and the example is already released in BLE Stack v2.2.1.
