CCS/CC2650: Reference Project Zero Error when Updating BLE Stack

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Initially I was using an older version of the BLE stack where I modified the actual app. However, after updating the BLE stack to 2.02.01.18 (from 2.02.00.31) I can't link the stack to the application anymore.

Any recommendation on how I can link the stack and the app? If possible, I would just like to use the latest stack (not the one provided with 2.02.00.31).
