CCS/EZ430-RF2500: Setup I2S-Interface at Bluetooth HFP CC256x

Part Number: EZ430-RF2500

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi,

I'm using a PAN1323 Blutooth-Module, which is based on CC256x-Controller, to setup a HFP-Bluetooth-connection.

Therefor I'm using the HFPDemo-project  and want to configure the sound-data to be transfered via I2S-interface and the control command via HCI.

As I already know, I'have to use the CC256x_VS_HCI_Commands, espacially HCI_VS_Write_CODEC_Config_Enhanced (0xFD07) to configure the interface, but I'm not clear how and where this command has to be included.

What would help me best, would be a sample, that shows a I2S-Interface used at a Bluetooth-connection.

With best regards

  • Hi,

You can use the HCI_VS_Write_CODEC_Config(0xFD06) and HCI_VS_Write_CODEC_Config(0xFD07) commands at the initialization to configure the I2S interface.

i.e. right after the Bluetooth stack has been initialized.
  • Hi Vihang,

Thank you for your quick answer.

Due I'm not able to connect to device and cannot load the demo-project, I have to solve the complete task without testing it.

I tried to solve this problem, but everything I tried as a dead end and didn't work in the end.

But I think it means, that I have to load the HFPdemo-project to the device and create a terminal-connection.

After this I shoulld be able to send the HCI_CS commands to the device, using the terminal.

I suppose the HCI_VS commands are terminal commands.

Is it also possible to include the commands into a c-file?

    Best regards
