CC2640: Meandered Inverted F Antenna with CC2640

Hi,

I am using CC2640 in my design. Due to space constraints, I want to use the Meandered Inverted F antenna used in the Application Note AN043

1. Can I replace the Antenna alone used in the sensor tag design with the antenna in AN043. All the other matching and filter circuitry will be as in the senor tag design.

2. Can I use the Filter and Matching circuits used in the reference design of AN043 along with the antenna, Just replacing the CC2511 with CC2640?

If you have size considerations, you can try to refer to CC2650 Utag reference design at www.ti.com/.../tidc-cc2650-utag

Hi Sarav,

You can replace the antenna in the reference design with the one from AN043. You should keep the RF components, but you most likely need to change the antenna match.

You should also consider single ended RF configuration.
