RTOS/CC2640: application exits at BIOS_start()

Hello,

I am trying to run simple_peripheral example on CC2640. I am using IAR Work bench 7.70.2 and I-jet. I have done following steps.

1. I built the BLE-stack and started (download & debug) session with CC2640.

2. I built the application and started (debug and download). When the debugger reaches to BIOS_start(). I got following warning

I go to TI-RTOS->see for error. It shows exceptions and errors as shown in figure below in red box.

What can be possible reason for these errors? Please help me to resolve this problem.

Since you running this on your custom CC2640, I suspect there is something wrong with your HW. Can you specify which CC2640 chip do you use ? Is it 7x7 VQFN48, 5x5 VQFN32, or 4x4 VQFN32?

Hi Mabbas,

You write that you use IAR 7.70.2, but your screenshot says 7.80.1. Anyway, the recommended version of IAR to ise is stated in the SDK release notes.

Did you build and download the Stack project before building, downloading and debugging the App project?

Thanks for your reply. Actually i have used both versions of IAR. In sdk guide, they have used 7.70.2 so i also tested that. But i was giving problems.

Yes first i built the stack project and downloaded. Then i built the app project and downloaded to running target.

It would be nice if you suggest what else i can do?

Hello YK Chen,

Thanks for your reply. On chip it is written CC2640 F128 Ti 5CI CJ5F . I think it 5x5.

If you use 5x5 chip, you should replace CC2650DK_7ID in compile option with CC2650DK_5XD
