Hello,

i have already tested the connection and data exchange between the simpleCentral and the simplePeripheral Project. Now I would like to connect the simpleCentral to a custom Project (For example the simple sunlight Custom Project).
What changes are necessary that I could connect with the simpleCentral to a BLE Peripheral (Server) which have some Custom Characteristics.
I would like to discover all available Custom Characteristics and read and write them.

    Hi Tobias,

    Simple_central filters the discovered devices on the service they have in their advertisement data. Per default, simple central looks for devices with the simple profile. You can see the code under GAP_DEVICE_INFO_EVENT.

    Hello,

    thank you for your answer. The Device i would like to connect is also running the simple profile.
    I can establish a connection to the device but after a few seconds the connection gets closed.
    The TI SimpleCentral projects display the following information on the serial port:
    BLE Central
    Disconnected
    Reason: 8
    Can you help me to find out the reason why the connection gets closed?

    Hi Tobias,

    Reason 8 means LL_STATUS_ERROR_CONNECTION_TIMEOUT (see the Software Developer's Guide). This can mean that you have some problem in the simple_peripheral, but there can also be some other problem.
