How compatible is the CC2650 LaunchPad with CC2640R2F software and examples?

For example, there are recent OAD and other samples for the CC2640R2F that aren't shown for CC2650 LaunchPad.

The examples for CC2640R2 are not compatible to CC2650.

Ok. I'm finding all kinds of good examples for the CC2640R2 but not so much for the CC2650, which is what I have currently (CC2640R2F Launchpad is currently unavailable). It's looking like the CC2650 has become a bit dated and not being well supported as the newer 2640R2F.

I realize one main difference is the BLE stack can be placed into ROM on the 2640R2F... other than that, can I leverage/modify the 2640r2F SimpleBLEPeripheral example and use it with the 2650 LaunchPad?

Hi Rick,

As YK writes, the CC2640R2F examples cannot be used on the CC2650. You will however find the latest BLE Stack (2.2.1) for CC2650, including example projects like SimplePeripheral, here: http://www.ti.com/ble-stack .
