BOOSTXL-CC2650MA: Sensor controller studio with BOOSTXL-CC2650MA

Part Number: BOOSTXL-CC2650MA
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2650MODA, CC2650

Hi,

I would like to setup an application for my eval board in Sensor controller studio. BOOSTXL-CC2650MA, which uses CC2650MODA part.

Which settings shall I use? that's because I see CC2650 Launchpad listed only under CC2650, package QFN48 7x7 RGZ.

And I can not see CC2650MODA listed in SCS.

Thanks,

Gabohkiin.

  • Hello Gabohkiin,

The CC2650MODA uses the CC2650 5x5 (QFN RHB) Package. Select chip package "QFN32 5x5 RHB in project settings:

You can also optionally make your own sensor controller board file to get the IO mapping for your board in SCS GUI. Simple copy one of the defined board files from here:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\Sensor Controller Studio\board_defs

And rename, and rewrite to match your CC2650MODA motherboard and place it here:

    C:\%USERPROFILE%\Documents\Texas Instruments\Sensor Controller Studio\board_defs

  • Thanks Eirik.
