cc2640: Why image B is unable to perform OAD for image A (oad_target_app) on cc2640

Hello,

Why its not possible to download image A (oad_target_app) through OAD using image B?. Although the image B has service to accept new image. It can erase the FLASH and then rewrite the incoming image A to the FLASH.

I tried to perform OAD of image A but the application get down at OADTarget_eraseFlash(page).

Is there any special reason that it is not allowed to download image A through OAD?

If the image A is not running when the image B is there. Then why its not possible to remove the image A?

An update of Img_A (resident OAD Target) is not performed due to Img_A containing the reset vector. Also, if Img_A is removed, the board can become bricked.

Then why img_B has the service for accepting the image through OAD? Neither it accepts img_B nor img_A.

Is it possible to use memory for (Int Vectors, BIM, Lookup Table ) other than 0 page ?

In this way it would be easy to remove the flash memory and write new image A in memory through OAD.

Or is it possible to start memory from page 1 for img_A?
