CC2540: BHET receiver plugin

Dear Sirs,

we have to serve tests of the Bluetooth unit of our hardware. One test is the error rate of the Bluetooth device.
Continuous Rx and continuous Tx is possible and works fine.

What we need is the receiver plugin. How can we do this without of a second device?

Please could you explain me this test and how we have to do?

    Hi Horst,

    You could do this with two CC2640s both running host_test, one as central and the other as peripehral; there's an HCI command to perform a Packet Error Test, aptly named HCI_EXT_PacketErrorRateCmd

    This is an extended command, or vendor specific command. You'll find documentation on this in the vendor specific guide.

    Regarding the receiver plug in, I'm not sure what that is
