SIMPLELINK-CC2640R2-SDK: Does the new 2640SDK has this function: breaklatency function.

Part Number: SIMPLELINK-CC2640R2-SDK
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2640R2F

One of my customer want to use the 2640 to do remote controller. Now they want to know does the new TI SDK has this function: breaklatency function.

Before they use the 2540 ,the request of parameter update need the  master's consent.

Now whether there is breaklatency in new 2640SDK, when do other key functions, such as latency is 99, power consumption can be low.

Then the voice is turned on, latency is 0 to ensure voice data communication OK.

  • Hello Shuai,

I see this was addressed via email. The CC2640R2F does support slave latency as well as the HCI Extension Set Slave Latency Override command. Note that if the peripheral (slave) is transmitting data, slave latency will inherently be disabled.

    Best wishes
