CC2640: simple_peripheral compilation error with IAR 7.70.2

Hello,

I was using developing the software using IAR 7.70.2. I installed the SDK for cc2640R2 and IAR 7.80.3.

I opened the simple_peripheral project in IAR 7.80.3 and it was compiled. But when i opened the project in IAR 7.70.2 it does compiles and showed following errors.

I pressed ok and compile the project and got following errors.

How i can fix it?

Hi,

IAR projects are typically not backwards compatible with earlier IAR toolchain versions. You will need to use 7.80.3+.

Is it not possible to do changes and make it to run on lower version??

I'm not aware of any procedure to back port a project to an earlier IAR tool version. Why can't you use 7.80.3 or CCS?

You can not open the project of the new version of IDE on the old version of IDE. But you can open the project of old version on new version :). => best solution : use new version of IDE :P
