CC2640R2F: Low power setting with UART functions

Dear all,

customer is doing a uart to ble module with CC2640R2F.

Everytime module is wake up, and want to use UART and open the uart in code and get the data, transform the data then close the UART and sleep.

in normal time, the standby power consumption is ok, around 0.1 mA, but sometimes when the UART is closed, but powerconsumption is upto 0.26mA.

then wake the module, open the UART, transform the data and close the UART, the power consumption become 0.1mA again.

Does anyone have comments?

Is it possible the UART pins go to unknown state when it is closed and cause this issue?

YK,

Thanks for your feedback, I told customer to set the GPIO to input functions after close the UART. Let's me double check the code.
By the way, Do I need to set the GPIO to input, pull-up or pull-down mode?

I think this depends on HW. If you see current leakage, you can try to set those pin trying to solve the issue.
