CCS/CC2640: Reseource Explore Error

Hi,

We have started a project a long time ago and imported sensortag project from TI Resource explorer. We have used the imported sensortag project and extensively editted it to make it work on our hardware. This project was written with TI BLE STACK 2.01.00.44423 (when installed there was a suffix like .._cloud for the name of BLE STACK installation folder ) I have installed CCS again for some reason and now I am trying to import sensortag project again only for installing TI BLE STACK 2.01.00.4423 . On resource explorer, I have the following error ;

I have tried many times to download the project so that BLE SDK 2.01.00.44423_cloud will be installed automatically but I always got this error. I do not need to sensortag project.. However, my own project does not work with that special BLE STACK version on cloud.

I have tried to install standalone version of BLE STACK 2.01 before. However, when I try to run my own project, I have man compiler error regarding the linking of the stack files. The reason is; Folder structure of BLE STACK 2.01 on cloud and on standalone version is different and this leads many compilation/link errors.

How can I solve this issue. I am stuck and could not proceed any furher.

    Hi Kerem,

    Is cloud support necessary for your design?

    I highly recommend using the latest version of the stack (2.2.1) for bug fixes and features, and port your application code over (via diffs or otherwise).

    Or perhaps even use the CC2640R2F, which does have cloud support

    Hi Rebel,

    Its been almost 6 months we are constantly developing our hardware and software. We can not port our current project to the latest version now.. We are in hurry and trying to catch up with a deadline. Has TI removed the old version of BLE SDK from cloud?? If not, why I can not download it from Resource Explorer ?

    Is there any link that I can download the cloud verison of old BLD SDK ? I urgently need it.

    Any comment/help is deeply appreciated...

    Hi Kerem,

    I don't have a good answer for you, we no longer support that cloud version -

    You'll have to download the application code files from the cloud and port it over to a updated version of the SDK. Following the porting guides should greatly help software-dl.ti.com/.../migration.html

    Can you please help me about how can I download the cloud version.. I do not need any support over that version. I just need the cloud version of BLE SDK 2.01.00.44423

    This version was only available at Resource Explorer on CCS. The standalone version does not compile with the project developed over cloud version.

    I will surely port it someday but not today.. Can you or somebody at TI make it available on Resource Explorer ?
