WEBENCH® Tools/CC2540: "Debugger->download tab" is not present

Hi,

I am new to this forum. I am using IAR Embedded workbench 8051 (evaluation) with CC2540 and CCdebugger. I am trying to download simple program.

As per guide line from internet, there is download tab under debugger (left image), but it doesn't seems to show it in my pc (right image).

Am i missing any setting or, is it because i am using eval version.

Hello,

On the "Setup" tab, is "Texas Instruments" listed as the Driver? Which online guide do you use?
The Download tab is on the "Texas Instrument" sub menu under Debugger for IAR 9.10.3.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Firstly, yes, there is texas instruments listed and my IAR as below. As for version,i guess is 10.10.1.

As for the guide online, i checked quite a few, and they all mentioned about that download tab. Some of which I have saved are as below.

As per suggestion, i check and found download tab, under sub men. However, as for options like "use flash loader(s)" no longer present any more, as per my first post print screen?

Hello LzBone,

My guidance is to use IAR 9.10.3. since this is the version TI qualified with the BLE-Stack v1.4.2.2 SDK release. We can't provide any assurance that newer IDE toolchain versions will maintain compatibility to this release. You can download IAR 9.10.3 from www.iar.com/.../

Hi JXS,

Thanks for the reply. I have checked the IAR link you have suggested, but it looks like it only allow to download latest version 10.10? They allow to download older version?
