CC2564C: About HFP profile

Hi,

I am now studing HFP profile.

I'd like to do something like below, is it suitable to select HFP profile?

connect a codec to CC2564C through I2S. and connect a mic and Speaker to codec.

I want control HF to send audio data(from codec) or BT command to AG, also, when AG have something to talk to HF, AG can send data, command or audio to HF.

not used to make call. just send/reveive audio data, command.

Hi Hari，

Thanks for your quick response. so you suggest to use A2DP profile to fulfill the function I mentioned, right ?

About the A2DP, usually defined as a source device or defined as a sink device. can we put both source and sink device role in one device, when need receive audio data from Hose, then ack as a sink device? otherwise, if need send audio data to Host, act as source device ?
