CC2640R2F: - WIFI (CC3220) /BLE (CC2640R2) coexistence mechanism?

Part Number: CC2640R2F

Team,

Note that I made a comparable post in the simplelink E2E forum.

Do we have anything new in term of CC3220/WIFI and CC2640R2/BLE co-existence?
There have been some older posts for CC320Gen1/CC6240 pointing to:
- IOT Gateway TI design as an example of HW interface
http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDC-BLE-TO-WIFI-IOT-GATEWAY

- Using GPIO + custom SW as co-existence mechanism as there is no built-in mechanism

-Is there anything new added to CC3220/CC2640R2 for such scenario?
-Assuming CC3220 as master/CC2640 as slave do we have some SW example for using GPIOs for this scenario?

Thanks in advance,

A.

  • Hi AnBer,

There is nothing new available. The best option right now is to use the GPO signal coming from the RF core and output those on IO pins. Alternatively you can make some hooks in the RF driver to enable external signals.
