Hi TI,

I'm trying to use 2 services at the same time, for transfering notification data packs at 20 Hz. Now I let my phone to subscribe the 2 services' notification characteristics to receive datas. But the CC2640R2 appears to be crushed. It doesn't work, cannot to be connected again until it's restarted. However, subscribing SINGLE notification characteristic doesn't let CC2640R2 crush, and subscribing DOUBLE notification characteristics when only ONE is sending datas, doesn't let it crush too. I don't know why...

Hi,

Which TI BLE-Stack are you using? Do you have a sniffer capture of this behavior?

I would recommend looking at the Custom Profile lab in SimpleLink Academy. Task 6 involves sending data periodically. Are you using the same approach to send your notifications?

I'm using BLE-Stack 3.0.1 for CC2640R2. Surely I'm using the same approach, but that's really a strange appearance...

Hi,

Can you clarify what you mean by "really a strange appearance"? Were you able to get the notifications to work when using the procedure from SimpleLink Academy?

Hi RachelP,
Yes, I do get the notifications when I'm using single service and single characteristic. But I still cannot get it clear that TWO services' notifications make the CC2640R2 crush.

Hi TI,

Finally I've found where's wrong in my codes.
I must ensure that: when BLE is connected and one of its services is notified, ONLY ONE characteristic can be refreshed in a single periodic task cycle. Or else, the periodic task queue is getting longer and longer, until the memory of CC2640R2 is overflowed. And then, CC2640R2 crushes.
