CC2640R2F: GGS_DISABLE_RPAO_CHARACTERISTIC caused >>> STACK ASSERT >> INTERNAL ERROR!

I was trying to build the simple_peripheral_oad_offchip under ble5stack from SDK 1.35.00.33.

No code is changed. Functionally, it works fine. However, if the BOARD_DISPLAY_USE_UART_ANSI is disabled (by making xBOARD_DISPLAY_USE_UART_ANSI=1), the console shows:

***ERROR***

>> INTERNAL ERROR!

Hello Rebel,

I did a little bit digging into the code. Apparently, that INTERNAL ERROR was caused by

GGS_SetParamValue(GGS_DISABLE_RPAO_CHARACTERISTIC);

in simple_peripheral.c

Comment out that GGS_DISABLE_PRAO_CHARACTERISTICS will stop that INTERNAL ERROR message. Should I comment it out?

After that point, there is nothing I can debug since it is into TI's BLE core stack. (Can I?)

Hi Samson,

Interesting - it may be a red herring for a stack overflow (check the ROV viewer to verify that everything seems ok)

I'll attempt to reproduce on my side, thanks for the steps!
