RTOS/CC2640R2F: How to create custom Memory section?

Part Number: CC2640R2F

Tool/software: TI-RTOS

Hi,

Using the simple_peripheral oad_offchip or this, SDK 1.35.

At the moment trying to create a custom memory section like the ones below:

    GROUP > SRAM
    {
               .data
#ifndef CACHE_AS_RAM
               .bss
#endif  /* CACHE_AS_RAM */
               .vtable
               .vtable_ram
                vtable_ram
               .sysmem
               .nonretenvar
    } LOAD_END(heapStart)

I want to add .taskStack to this list in SRAM, trying this:

Task.common$.instanceSection = ".taskStatic";
Program.sectMap[".taskStatic"] = new Program.SectionSpec();
Program.sectMap[".taskStatic"].loadSegment = "SRAM";
Program.sectMap[".taskStatic"].runSegment = "SRAM";

Have tried removing Task.common$.instanceSection = ".taskStatic";

The code compiles fine, but when I try to debug using LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2F, I get this warning:

Cortex_M3_0: JTAG Communication Error: (Error -1170 @ 0x0) Unable to access the DAP. Reset the device, and retry the operation. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK). (Emulation package 6.0.576.0)
Cortex_M3_0: Failed to remove the debug state from the target before disconnecting.  There may still be breakpoint op-codes embedded in program memory.  It is recommended that you reset the emulator before you connect and reload your program before you continue debugging

Do I need to add anything in the linker command file? Or am I missing something else?
