LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2: CCS BLE 5 Off-Chip OAD Procedure?

Hi,

I am following the BLE 5 CCS Off-Chip OAD Procedure. Using Smart RF Flash Programmer I program the .hex files of bim, and stack. Then I do a scan using BTool. What BD Slave Address do I expect to see at BTool?

Nevermind, I made this to work.

But, how do I do another BTool OAD at External Flash? Is there anything I can set at the OAD BLE Services that will enable me to do another BTool OAD?

Hi kel,

Just FYI for your first question: In Flash Programmer 2, select the MAC Address tab and read the BLE MAC address. You should see that as one of the options for connecting in BTool.

To perform another OAD, all you have to do is create another hexfile with a later version than what is currently running on the device. For more informaiton, see software-dl.ti.com/.../oad.html.
